Whats In my travel bag!!!

Summer is finally here!!! The sun is out and I can finally pack up those jackets and show a little skin. Anyway, I'm going for summer holidays and just thought I'll show you a few things I'm packing (currently packing and updating)  fashion and beauty wise.

  • So the first thing I packed are Shorts, Pink, purple, black, blue, green.... Typical for the weather.

  • I love taking long baths so I packed my shower gel and spa lotion.

  • I love traveling but I dread packing, honestly, because I always forget the most important things. This time I'm keeping a record, Ill be sure not to forget any essentials. That includes my bathing suit. Its a beautiful black one piece.

  • I cant go anywhere without my nail polish. I hate chipped nail polish so I always carry one in my bag but in this case, Its going in the big box!

  • Next, are these really cool fluorescent/ neon dresses. I love the bright colours. Perfect for summer vacation.

  • I just packed some party shoes and dresses but I wont be showing you that. Now I have to get my wedges and sandals in but my box is already getting full.

  • I dont know how I'm going to fit everything into two boxes but Ill work a little magic. I guess its one of the things you learn as a fashionista..... Next, jeans!

  • No one will ever understand my love for designer perfumes; coco chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Salvatore ferragamo, Calvin klein....

  • Tank tops. I cant believe I dont own a straw hat.

  • One of my most valuable possessions;  my african beads. I cant go anywhere without them I hope they dont get all tangled up before I get to my destination.

  • And of course my make up purse.

  • How can I forget my sunshades? I need some aviators but sadly I've run out of cash and its not in my budget.

  • Some sexy Lingerie...

  • And some Bralettes. I might give one out.

  • My very faithful Hair straightener. Its quite portable and perfect for traveling.

  • Sling bags, straw bags... Summer bags!!

  • I took a short break and remembered skirts and blouses. These are a few bodycon skirts;

  • My bag of toiletries, mouth wash and disinfectant... Packing and blogging is quite stressful.

  • Lastly I got some prints. I might feel inspired and design something while I'm away.

These are the few things I packed, still packing but unfortunately I have no time to show all. I don't know when next Ill be blogging but contact me through email,  facebook or twitter for any questions. Wish me a safe trip!  Bye <3 xxx

Random make up ideas

Hey everyone! I know I'm not your most consistent blogger but trust me when I say I always feel the need to update but due to certain reasons I don't. Anyway, I want to share some make up Ideas with you.

  1. Smooth face: If you have good eye make up and lipstick and your face isn't smooth or properly cleansed, your make up isn't complete. You have to make sure your face is clean before applying make up. Firstly, wash your face with a good face cleanser, if you have oily skin, you might want to get a specified cleaning astringent for oily skin.

2. Foundation: Foundation is the best way to make your skin look smooth and even. The common mistake I noticed is people using foundation that doesn't match their skin tone. To find your perfect match, swatch a few shades on your face under natural light. Every foundation formula has a variety of colours for every skin tone, foundation formula's include; stick foundation, liquid cream foundation, compact foundation and tinted moisturizers and balms.

3. Eye make up: I talked about eye make up on one of my previous posts so I won't place much emphasis on it. For me, Its black eye liner. When I'm in a hurry and don't have much time to create a good eyeshadow  design, I just apply a dark brown eyeshadow to my crease with my black eyeliner, winged or "unwinged' and that pretty much does it for me.

Get this look?

On the other hand, on special occasions, I love to play with colours and false lashes.

4. Lipstick and Rouge: The colour of lipstick you use on a regular basis depends on your personal style. I like to use bright pink ( magenta) on normal days and red for formal/ party occasions but on stay at home days, no make up at all! Its pretty much the same thing with blush.

New hair colour and Hair dyeing tips.

Hair dying is something I really love, if you've noticed I've died my hair almost every shade of red. Whether its your real hair or your hair extensions, extra care and precaution must be taken when colouring your hair and its important to use good and reputable products and Henna is not an option. Although its natural, you might not get your desired result.

I use Creme of nature hair dye most times because its very effective and its quite affordable. You can email me for details.
The first thing you ought to consider before dying your hair is something I call "Identification." That simply means searching for a colour that will suit your complexion and your style.  If you're dark skinned, you should go for subtle colours and if you're light skinned, you can try brighter colours.

This is my new hair colour and its bright red.

If your hair is black and you apply red dye to it, your results will be brownish red or burgundy but if you want a lighter red like mine, you'll have to bleach it blonde before applying red colour.
